Stourport men's 2nd XI are top of the Division 3 West after beating their visitors Old Halesonians 1st XI, 7-0.

Following the promotion of their 1st XI, a bolstered Stourport side began steadily, absorbing Old Hales pressure, and opened the scoring themselves when Co-captain and player of the match Adam Leeke, scored through with a breakaway goal.

Stourport exerted further pressure on Old Hales shortly afterwards when Stourport's other Co-Captain Nathan Claris deflected in a short corner. 

A period of tenacious midfield pressure followed which produced two further goals through Claris and Evan* leaving Stourport with a commanding lead at the break. 

A composed Stourport side took to the field in the second half adding a further three goals through Leeke, Leo*, and Phil Baldwin assuring the home side of an unassailable lead. Next week the 2nd's travel to Cannock.

The men's 4th XI came away with a 0-0 draw in their opening Midland 7 South West league match, against visitors Redditch 2nd's.

This was a match where both sides had chances to break the deadlock, Stourport youngsters Dan*, Noah,* Jacob and George* combined well with the older members of the team to sweep the ball from Stourport's 16-yard mark all the way to the Redditch's D, where they narrowly failed to score.

Stourport had to defend as well Dan Baldwin in the home goal making a double save to keep his side on level terms, hurling himself at the ball and using his agility while on the ground to stop a second attempt by Redditch to go ahead.

Despite these heroics in goal, it was one of the Stourport juniors, Noah*, who took Stourport's player of the match award, in this hard-fought draw, for his link-up play down the right side of the pitch and in defence he was tenacious, battling hard to win the ball back on more than one occasion.

 The men's 5th XI began their season with a win when they beat their hosts Redditch 3rd 4-0. A brace of goals for John Kane in the fifth and fiftieth minutes was added to with two goals in five minutes through David Henderson in the sixtieth and an outstanding team goal finished off by Steve Jones in the sixty-fifth minute.

The clean sheet was a credit to Stourport's player of the match Steve Li, for marshalling the visitor's defence to perfection.

Stourport Ladies 2nd XI had a phenomenal start to their Midlands Division 1 campaign with a convincing 3-0 victory away to Harborne 1st XI.

By half time the visitors were 2-0 ahead through an open play goal by Stourport's player of the match Olivia Laight followed by a short corner straight strike by Amy Miller. Stourport began to tire in the second half Stourport continued to attack and added a third through youngster Ruby* at a short corner.

The ladies 3rd XI began their league campaign in the Midlands Division 3 South West with a 7-0 defeat by their visitors Olton & West Warwickshire 3rd XI.

Stourport battled hard in the first half but found themselves 0-4 down by the break. Things improved for the hosts in the second half as they made more and more inroads into the Olton half creating opportunities from short corners; however, it wasn't enough to prevent Olton from scoring three more goals in the second half.
