KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have signed Liverpool FC forward Jack Bearne until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has risen through the ranks at Liverpool, having success in their FA Youth Cup squad, and bagging goals last season in PL2.

He also featured in the Liverpool side at Aggborough during their recent pre-season friendly.

Jack told the Kidderminster Harriers’ YouTube channel: “I’m really buzzing to be here. The club has got a great fan base and a great reputation in this league.

“I’ve played a pre-season match against Kidderminster this season and I’ve seen the way that they play, and it really suits my style of play.

“I know Rhys Williams has been at Kidderminster before, and he’s spoke to me and said that it’s a great place to come and learn your trade, and hopefully get a lot of first team experience under my belt.

“I like to be an exciting attacking player, I’d like to say that I’m quite quick, get forward into the box, score goals [on my] right and left foot.

“Hopefully I can just bring as much of what I can do to the team as possible and be successful”.

The attacker made his first-team debut for Liverpool in the League Cup quarter-final at Aston Villa in December 2019.
