Stourport Ladies’ 2nd XI 3-1 Harborne 1st XI

Stourport ladies 2nd returned to winning ways when they beat their visitors, Harborne 1st XI, 3-1, in the Midlands Women's Premier League. In a hard-fought match, Stourport began on the attack against an improved Harborne side and stayed there for the whole of the first half.

Stourport pressed well and gave Harborne no way of escape, the visitors unable to get anywhere near the Stourport 'D', let alone establish a sustained period of pressure. Stourport gained a two-goal lead through Bryony* and Lucy* who scored excellent goals. Stourport, suffering from a lack of team cohesion, allowed Harborne to pull the scores back to 2-1.
