REECE Styche ensured an improbable point as Harriers produced a stirring fight back at Prenton Park.

Kidderminster had been trailing 2-0 to Tranmere after first half goals for for Liam Hogan and Andy Mangan.

But substitute Gurjit Singh bagged an 84th minute effort and Styche made it 2-2 in the 91st minute to stun the home side.

Kidderminster made two changes from the team which lost to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday, recalling Styche and Andre Wright for Singh and Aman Verma.

They faced Rovers team containing former players Nathan Blissett, on loan from Bristol Rovers, and Martin Riley.

The first ten minutes saw both teams battle for the upper hand in an end to end affair.

With Adam Dawson pulling the strings behind Styche, Kidderminster posed and threat and Wright tested keeper Scott Davies in the tenth minute.

But Mangan was proving a threat for the hosts and he unleashed an accurate 20-yard drive in the 14th minute, which keeper Alex Palmer had covered.

But as Tranmere cranked up the pressure, Kidderminster cracked and fell 1-0 down in the 20th minute.

Liam Ridehalgh centred the ball from the left and Hogan punished a static defence to fire home from close range.

Kidderminster immediately pushed for a leveller and from a Dawson free-kick, Joe Clarke fired just wide.

But the gaps at the back remained and Mangan finished off a paced counter-attack down the left wing by firing past a helpless Palmer in the 26th minute.

Manager Whild made a change in the 34th minute when he took off the struggling Wright and brought on Verma.

The lively Tahvon Campbell tested Davies but Kidderminster were unable to pull a goal back before the break.

Tranmere threw on attacker Marlon Jackson at the start of the second half and he made an immediate impact as he rolled a shot just wide of the far post.

Louis Maynard also thumped a header wide for the hosts in the 50th minute.

The Rovers midfielder came even closer to scoring in the 55th minute but Palmer tipped over his far post header.

But the away side had their moments, with Dawson and Campbell both eager to test the home side's less than solid back line.

Campbell saw a long range effort take a deflection to force a corner, which Davies was left desperately trying to reach.

Styche was shown a yellow card on the hour mark for going down easily in the box while trying to win a penalty.

Campbell was then replaced by Singh in the 66th minute.

Despite seeing a lot of the ball, the away team were not really testing Tranmere but the home side boasted the gifted Mangan, who nearly bagged a third in the 76th minute, only for Palmer to athletically beat away the forward's free-kick.

Verma then met an Andrew Fox cross in the 80th minute but headed the ball straight at Davies.

But the alert Singh handed Kidderminster a lifeline in the 84th minute, winning the ball in the box before finishing with lethal accuracy from a tight angle via the far post.

Midfielder Joe Clarke nearly bagged a leveller mo nets later but his effort rolled just wide.

Mangan Could have bagged a third for Rovers but was denied by Palmer.

But in the 91st minute, Styche levelled the scores with a cool finish after controlling a good cross from Fox.

But Kidderminster enjoyed a huge slice of luck in the final minute when Jackson's effort crashed off the post and Liam Ridehalgh blazed the follow-up over the bar.
