WOVERLEY’S Eclipse Club had two winners at the World United Martial Arts (WUMA) European Championships.
Cieran Carroll, 9, fought through the novice category and then saw off a much more advanced opponent in the final to take his title.
Meanwhile, Callum Hawkins, 6, fought in the points and kickboxing sections and became double European champion.
He out witted all his opponents in the points fighting, even winning the final by a five point margin.
He then went on to fight in the kickboxing section and due to his strength and tremendous speed, his competitors were no match for Hawkins who deservedly took the double title.
Both train at Wolverley Memorial Hall on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Tuesdays at Arley Kings Village Hall.
