A WOMAN has died in a single car crash in Bewdley.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A456 near Blackstone, in Bewdley, shortly before 1am today.
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, a BASICS emergency doctor and medics from the West Midlands Central Accident Resuscitation and Emergency (CARE) Team were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find a car which was overturned and had suffered significant damage.
“The single occupant of the car, a woman, was trapped in the vehicle and had suffered serious injuries.
“Unfortunately despite the best efforts of ambulance crews and medics nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”
