Bewdley Festival is a “huge success” so far and although all the evening shows are sold out, tickets are still available for the remaining daytime events.

Those with tickets will see the last of the week’s evening entertainment from singer Elkie Brooks on Thursday, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain on Friday and the final Motown Party Night with How Sweet it is on Saturday.

Organiser, Carole Swingler, said: “After the huge success of the first part of Bewdley Festival, we are exhausted but exhilarated as we prepare for the last few days.”

Richard Perrin’s talk on Bewdley, on Thursday morning is sold out but tickets can still be purchased for the daytime shows at Bewdley Baptist Church.
