THIS transport plan looks OK in theory but it will just move problems from one area to another.

I can only think that whoever thought of taking traffic from the Stourport Road and dumping it on Hoo Brook, have not experienced getting onto the Worcester Road from Chester Road South.

Quite often traffic is queued up to along the Spennells Valley Road and up Chester Road on a morning.

On a bad morning, I have seen it queued such to the Bromsgrove Road. Then try getting out of Wilden Lane or onto the A449 from town.

I think the whole plan will fail unless we get access to the motorway network that was envisaged a few years ago until John Major’s government put a stop to it.

I know the government will say they have not got the money but they seem to find plenty to hand out to the EU and overseas aid. Business will not want to come here until this is achieved.
