Musical Milestones: Johnnie Walker will be at the Bewdley Festival next month
RADIO DJ Johnnie Walker will bring a theatre show to Bewdley Festival.
Johnnie, who presents Sound Of The Seventies and In Concert, on BBC Radio 2, will present his show, Musical Milestones, at the town’s Ramada Hotel on Tuesday, October 12 at 8pm.
He will tell the story of his life and times in radio and the music that has influenced him from the 1960s to the present day.
Johnnie started his radio career in 1966 on an offshore pirate radio station called Swinging Radio England, before moving to Radio Caroline. In 1969 he joined BBC Radio and has worked on Radio 1 and 2 ever since.
