WYRE Forest Community Housing has taken the amount raised for charity by a black tie ball past £1,500.
The event at Stourport Civic Centre, organised by Maxwell Moore, generated £780 but the housing group, which Mr Moore is vice chairman of, agreed to match that total, taking it to £1,560.
The money was split between Kidderminster Hospital's Millbrook Suite and Prostate Cancer Support.
