We have just a few days now before the expected announcement that a General Election will be called for 6th May. So – I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of my Labour colleagues and friends who are standing for election in Wyre Forest the very best of luck for a successful result.
I also extend greetings to my political opponents and their party representatives for the General Election in Wyre Forest. The local people here will decide who they want to represent them at Westminster. I sincerely hope they do so not on a personality basis, but on the understanding that their MP belongs to a political party that will put their needs, and the needs of the country first. I hope that choice will be Labour.
