Very good news that Britain is officially out of the recession. In Wyre Forest, this means Labour's policies are directly helping employment prospects and keeping industry relatively stable. We have lower unemployment than many other areas, and Labour's investment into public services is helping to keep people in work. Labour took decisive action when it mattered most! Government supported the banking system, ensuring businesses could survive the down- turn and families were helped through the recession. Obviously, this policy has had its critics - mostly belonging to the Conservative Party and non-elected individuals either in the media or the financial and banking sectors. However, politics is about choice and Labour chose to act with a massive investment of public money into the banks. When the country is well out of the recession the Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Bank will return to being sovereign companies, unaided by Government and the British Tax Payer should be better off by over £100billion.
