A PARTY to thank friends and family for supporting a woman in her battle with cancer has brought in nearly £550 for the Millbrook Suite.
Valerie Hyde is suffering from brain cancer and has been treated at the unit for the last two and a half years.
The event, attended by about 90 people at the Kidderminster Harriers Suite, raised £542 from donations and a raffle.
