NEIGHBOURS in Bewdley rallied round to support a woman being treated at the Millbrook Suite when she held a fund-raising event at her house.
Sandra Turner staged a bring and buy sale, raffle and a darts contest, generating £300 for the appeal.
The event takes the total raised by residents at Woodlands Park to more than £1,000 after they were urged to support the appeal by Pam Brewer, a member of the Kidderminster Hospital’s Bosom Friends group.
Mrs Brewer has recently been treated at the hospital following a recurrence of breast cancer, undergoing reconstruction surgery.
