Jan Ravens was educated at Homerton Colledge, Cambridge and it shows. Her highly intelligent, funny performance, wowed the audience at The Ramada Hotel on Tuesday night.

Star of BBC's Dead Ringers, she brought many of her characters with her to the delight of her audience. An entrance as Anne Robinson was perfect, even to telling Festival Director, Jenny Paddock, that she would be alright when she got her confidence back!

There were lots of references to current events through many, many characters, and after the interval we were entertained by The Queen, retraining as a plumber; Thora Hird sorting out the situation in the Middle East; and finally we were all taught how to impersonate........ Janet Street Porter!

A fabulous night and for those who didn't go - you missed a real treat! An evening with Gervase Phinn is sold out this evening, but there may still be tickets available for Beverley Craven and Richard Digance. Call the Box Office at 01905 611427, or call in to Bewdley Tourist Information Centre.
