FOUR wonderful complementary voices, a hugely talented piano player, some of the best show tunes ever, skilful arrangements and charismatic actor/singers, all lead stars from successful West End productions, wowed the audience on Monday, October 12, at the Ramada Hotel in a show designed especially for Bewdley Festival.
Christopher Key and Lucy Cound, both educated in Bewdley, were joined by Sherrie Pennington and Nic Greenfshields, with David Laugharne on piano, in a show which provided excitement, laughter, and high emotion.
The performers were all so talented that it is impossible to pick out particular numbers for praise, but Christopher Key's direction and introductions must be mentioned as these provided exceptionally good links between songs and performers.
The roar of applause and standing ovation clearly demonstrated the audience's approval of such high quality entertainment.
