Although Bewdley Festival 2009 opens in the evening of Friday 9th October, the first Festival Saturday is traditionally one of great free entertainment around the town.
From 11.00am outside the Guildhall in Bewdley Andy Healey, diablo juggler and balloon man will be delighting children of all ages. Music will be provided by 'The Social Boys' and 'Three's a Crowd'. If that doesn't make you feel like dancing yourself you will be able to watch the 'Urban Dance Group'. You will also be entranced by the moving performances from the 'Kaleidoscope' theatre group.
For a change of scene, visit the exciting 'Art of Print' exhibition by 6 professional artists in the Museum's Wyre Forest Gallery. After that why not move on to the library gallery for the other Festival exhibition, this one of stunning photographs from the prestigious Environmental Photographer of the Year competition?
These and Fringe events around the town are listed in the OctoberFest leaflet available from the Tourist Information Centre and Bewdley businesses.
