SOME of the artists taking part in this year’s Bewdley Festival will be available to meet the public and discuss their work over the coming days.

Six members of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists exhibiting at the Wyre Forest Gallery in Bewdley Museum have agreed to answer any questions visitors have.

The pieces all demonstrate different approaches to printmaking, including etchings, woodcuts and silk screen prints, with inspirations ranging from rural and urban landscapes to the human figure.

Birmingham’s Peter Shread will make an appearance on Saturday, with Lynn Jeffery available on Sunday.

Dutch artist Frans Wesselman will then visit the museum next Friday, followed on Sunday by Maggie Humphrey, who has produced a successful range of Christmas card and book illustrations.

The event will be rounded off by award-winning Paul Hipkiss discussing his prints on Friday, October 23 and Maggie Kitching on Saturday, October 24.

Prints by all artists will be available to buy either framed or unframed. The exhibition runs until October 31.
