THE world’s most famous horse show returns to The NEC in October with the most spectacular programme of events ever seen at Britain’s biggest indoor equestrian venue.

Horse of the Year Show hosts the finals of the most highly regarded national showing championships and celebrates the end of the competitive season in true style.

From stunning displays to tense competition, Horse of the Year Show is an equestrian extravaganza not to be missed.

The Kidderminster Shuttle has teamed up with Horse of the Year Show to offer you the chance to win tickets so you can experience the incredible atmosphere first hand.

The show features the finals of all of the most prestigious national show jumping championships and also runs a full programme of international classes, five of which offer world ranking points.

The atmosphere is electric as riders and horses tackle the huge jumps and tight turns in a variety of classes including the Speed Horse of the Year, the famous Puissance and the class they really want to win – the Leading Show Jumper of the Year. Alongside the competition, a stunning line-up of displays have been choreographed with a distinct Broadway Musical theme and include the HOYS School Musical by the Cheshire Hunt North Pony Club and a spectacular performance by Daniel Naprous and his team of stuntmen.

The ever-popular HOYS Dressage Special, featuring exquisite dressage to music, takes place during Friday’s performance and in addition, HOYS 09 will also host the crowd favourite high speed Osborne Refrigerators Scurry Racing and the thrilling Pony Club Mounted Games for the prestigious Prince Philip Cup.

With two arenas, 1,500 horses, 1,400 competitors and a huge variety of shopping at over 250 stands, 1.2 million square feet of The NEC is transformed into a horse lover’s paradise.
