SIXWAYS Stadium, home of the Worcester Warriors, will host Party on the Pitch - a concert packed with all time favourite songs from the 1980s.

This spectacular stadium concert with headline names will capture the spirit of the decade and is being billed as a ‘not-to-be-missed 80s revival party’ on Saturday, July 25.

An inspiring line up of original artists will perform their top ten songs in a night of hit after hit after hit in a show in a show supported by Wyvern FM.

Headlining will be The Human League, the Brit synth-pop legends, Belinda Carlisle, one of the most prolific female artists of the 80’s and Bananarama, one of the most successful girl-bands of the decade.

Add in Heaven 17, chart favourites who are known for fusing funk and pop and T’Pau, with the all time favourite No 1 hit China in your Hand and everyone can name at least one favourite tune from this collection.

The gates open at 5pm and the programme commences from 7.30pm - with back to back artists and hits including Tell Me When, Don’t You Want Me, Venus, Cruel Summer, Circle in The Sand, Heaven is A Place On Earth, Come Live With Me and China in Your Hand.

Charlie Little, general manager at Worcester Warriors said, “We are looking forward to welcoming these five legendary acts from the 1980s. It promises to be a great occasion for the city and people right across the region.”

This is not a picnic-style concert and no food and drink is permitted to be brought into the ground. Full catering facilities are available inside the stadium.
