POLICE swooped on a street in Kidderminster and arrested a man on suspicion of sexual activity involving a child after being called by a vigilante group.
Footage has been shared on social media of the man, aged 41, being confronted by Newcastle Hunters, a group that targets paedophiles, before his arrest.
Officers said they were called out after information was passed on to West Mercia Police last week.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “On Wednesday, April 17, a 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual activity involving a child under 16 after information was passed to police”.
West Mercia Police added that the man has since been bailed.
