The air ambulance was called to Kidderminster after concerns for a man's welfare were reported.
Medics responded to reports of concern for a patient’s welfare on Park Lane at 5.40pm yesterday (Tuesday April 16).
The air ambulance was dispatched to the scene, near Brinton Park, but was stood down.
The man was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of concern for a patient’s welfare on Park Lane at 5.40pm.
"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who following treatment was taken to hospital for further treatment."
