AN air ambulance was sent out after a van flipped onto its roof in a road collision. 

The incident happened on the A451 near Dunley, Stourport, at around 12.35pm on Wednesday (April 10).

The driver of the van was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and taken to hospital by a land ambulance.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on the A451 near Dunley, Stourport on Severn at around 12.35pm.

"An ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a van on its roof.

"The driver, a man, was assisted from the vehicle before being treated by medics for injuries not believed to be serious.

"He was conveyed via land ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment".
