Police have confirmed that a woman sustained injuries during a multi-vehicle crash in Kidderminster last week. 

West Mercia Police were called to a collision involving multiple vehicles on St Mary's Ringway at around 5pm on Friday, February 9. 

Following the incident, officers closed the road from Blackwell Street roundabout leading to Crossley in the direction of Kidderminster. 

One woman sustained minor injuries in the crash. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to a multiple vehicle collision on the St Marys Ringway in Kidderminster around 5pm on Friday 9 February. One woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries."

West Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance at the scene. 

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a four-car RTC at the junction of Lower Mill Street and Park Butts Ringway at 5.01pm on Friday. 

"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival, we discovered two patients.

"A woman was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, whilst a man was assessed and discharged at the scene."
