DRONE footage has captured the aftermath of a crash near Kidderminster town centre. 

The collision happened on Birmingham Road this morning (Friday, January 26) and involved a lorry and a girl. 

She was rushed to Birmingham Children's Hospital with "potentially serious injuries."

Birmingham Road was closed as emergency services swiftly dealt with the incident. 

Drone footage captured by Wyre Forest Drone shows the road cordoned off by police and the build-up of traffic following the incident. 

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision involving a lorry and pedestrian on Birmingham Road at 8.21am, two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a BASICS doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered the pedestrian, a girl, had suffered potentially serious injuries in the incident.

"Following treatment from ambulance staff at the scene she was then transported to Birmingham Children’s Hospital by land ambulance".
