THERE have been reports of trees falling onto roads and blocking motorists in the district as Storm Jocelyn causes widespread disruption.
Yesterday evening (Tuesday, January 23), Wyre Forest District Council said they were made aware of several incidents in Kidderminster.
On X, formerly Twitter, they said that trees had fallen on the A449 by Screwfix, Sutton Park Road and Hurcott Lane.
The Worcestershire County Council Highways and Travel team said they dealt with around 50 incidents involving fallen trees last night and remain on alert today.
In a post on X they said: "Our teams dealt with around 50 fallen trees across Worcestershire last night due to Storm Jocelyn, mainly in the north of the county We remain on alert today; if you spot a problem, please get in touch via this account or call us on 01905 845676".
