Police have launched an appeal after a theft from a pickup truck in Stourport last month.

An orange Stihl saw and a red whacker plate with 'Speedy hire' stickers on them were stolen from the truck when it was parked on Vernon Road.

The incident happened overnight between December 7 and December 8.

A spokesperson for Stourport Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or saw anything suspicious.

"There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property including where possible removing all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended.

"We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle."
