The council are unable to collect bins in some areas of Wyre Forest today (Wednesday, January 3) due to flooding.

Wyre Forest District Council announced on social media that bins are unable to be emptied in Upper Arley.

A spokesperson for the council said: "Properties affected are from School Bank leading into Frenchman Street, DY12 1XA.

"Please leave your bin out and we will return for collection as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience."

The latest disruption comes as storm Henk has been causing chaos across the region including flooding and road closures as the River Severn continues to rise.
