A car has been set on fire after it was stolen from outside a house in Kidderminster.

The silver Suzuki CVT was found abandoned and ablaze on Halfway House Lane in Eardington in the early hours of Thursday, November 16.

Police checks with the registered keeper of the vehicle revealed it had been stolen from Kidderminster sometime after they parked it outside their home at around 6pm on Wednesday, November 15.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “Police and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident and thankfully nobody was injured.

“Once the fire was extinguished and allowed to cool, the car was recovered to clear the road.”
