PATIENTS, carers, and families are being asked to take part in a survey to improve experience and quality of care at Kidderminster Hospital.

Hospital bosses at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust – which runs the Alexandra, Kidderminster and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals - are encouraging people to have their say by taking part in the Big Quality Conversation.

The short anonymous online survey, which is available in 95 languages, asks questions about safety, the effectiveness of treatment and the overall experience of hospital care.

Jackie Edwards, interim chief nursing officer at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “It’s really important to us that we continue to deliver continuous improvements to the quality of the care we provide for our patients when they are in our care, and one of the best ways we can do this is by shaping our plans based on what our patients, carers and community are telling us is important.

“The Big Quality Conversation survey is a key way for us to hear about the experiences of our patients, carers and community to understand the quality and safety of the services you, or someone you care for, received at one of our hospitals."
