A YOUTUBER who 'audits' police stations around Britain has praised the actions of a sergeant at Worcester Police Station.

Koleeberks's video at the station in Castle Street has already gained over 43,000 views after being uploaded on Monday.

Sergeant Rob 'Swoosh' Seewoosaha has been called a "legend" by viewers and colleagues for his interaction with the YouTube "auditor".

Instead of turning Koleeberks away, he offers him a tour of the station's yard explaining the purpose of different police vehicles.

Last month, West Mercia Police issued an apology after arresting the man behind Auditing Britain while he filmed outside Kidderminster Police Station.

But Sgt Seewoosaha has been praised with one commenter saying: "Well done Sargeant.

"It’s rare to find someone so professional.

"Excellent example to all other officers."

Another comment said: "Rob is a legend wow, just shows how people with power should react."

Chief Inspector Fergus Green said: “This is the response we would expect any member of the public to receive when attending a police station peacefully.

"We are here to serve the public and it is right that the public are able to question our officers, even if those questions can be challenging and uncomfortable at times."

Filming on a GoPro and iPhone 8, Koleeberks initially goes to the front desk and asks "where do the cars come out?" before heading down Love's Grove.

Two officers approach him separately and politely ask him to leave as it is private property but he argues there is "an implied right of access".

During the clip he says: "Shall we go to Kidderminster after this? Could do...Kidderminster is just up the road."

Sgt Seewoosaha approaches him and says: "What do you need to see? Because you are on police premises all I ask you to do is be a bit respectful of us."

The YouTuber explains he is not from Auditing Britain "but I am one of those auditor guys" and initially declines to give his name before saying it is Kolee.

As the pair wander around the yard Sgt Seewoosaha jokes about getting in trouble with superiors because the police cars are dirty.

As the tour draws to a close, Koleeberks says: "Fair play you've taken a very good approach sometimes the police want to get heavy-handed and put hands on me and stuff, I'm not trying to get you into that situation.

"People are going to love this Rob."

"You guys have been sound though."

However, a request to tour the police station was declined.

The YouTuber asks: "Have you been briefed on auditors and how to deal with these public photographers?"

Sgt Seewoosaha replies: "I'll treat you like I respect everyone else."

As the vlogger leaves, the police sergeant says: "Thank you because we've had a few people come up and they've immediately [inaudible] you've gone to the effort and time to go to front counter."

Koleeberks ends the video with: "Sergeant Rob, let's get a like for this guy. I'm going to wrap this up, that was Worcester Police Station.

"Very friendly sergeant. It seems as though they've got the memo."
