A KIDDERMINSTER pensioner died as the result of an accident, an inquest heard.
Douglas Carter, of Cotswold Close, sustained injury in a fall and was admitted into the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The 92-year-old's condition declined and he died on January 15.
An inquest held by Worcestershire Coroner's Service, which opened on January 28, and closed on Friday, April 29, ruled he died as the result of an accident.
The precise medical cause of death, confirmed at the inquest, is listed as subdural haematoma.
