A NEW Harry Potter book will be released nine years after JK Rowling’s final story, The Deathly Hallows.

Rowling’s website Pottermore confirmed that the script of the new stage play Harry Potter And The Cursed Child will be released as a book on July 31 2016, the day after the play’s world premiere and, fans will note, Harry’s birthday.

The Cursed Child is officially the eighth book in the Harry Potter canon and will be released in two versions: a Special Rehearsal Edition using the script performed in the play’s previews, before being replaced later by a Definitive Collector’s Edition.

The streaming service just dropped a juicy one-minute promo which shows Frank and Claire Underwood going head-to-head, police raids, a gunman and even a possible murder and suicide.

Netflix have also announced that veteran actresses Ellen Burstyn and Cicely Tyson will be joining the show for season 4 and the trailer gives us a first glimpse of Ellen in character, as well as a look at Scream star Neve Campbell in her new role and new addition Joel Kinnaman, who could be a rival for Frank.

BRITAIN’S most successful gymnast Beth Tweddle has walked “a few steps” with assistance from medics following neck surgery – but a timescale for her recovery is uncertain, her parents said.

The 30-year-old, who won bronze at the London Games in 2012, fell on the slopes during rehearsals for Channel 4 celebrity show The Jump and needed neck surgery which involved having a piece of bone taken from her hip.

In a statement, Beth’s parents Ann and Jerry said: “Since her surgery, Beth has managed to walk a few steps whilst being assisted by the nursing team.”

AFTER seemingly endless dithering, Kanye West has finally decided what to call his new album.

The rapper announced the new record will be called The Life of Pablo on Twitter on Wednesday and shared a handwritten track list.

The album includes 10 songs, some of which were featured on the last track list West released in January.

Before settling on the title The Life of Pablo, Kanye changed the name of the record from Swish to Waves.
