RESIDENTS are being reminded they have a week left to have their say on plans for the future development in the local area.

Wyre Forest District Council is preparing a new Local Plan which will determine how much new housing, employment and retail development is need in the area and its location.

The council is seeking the views of their residents in the ‘Issues and Options Consultation paper’. The consultation ends on Friday, October 16.

Councillor John Campion, cabinet member for planning and economic regeneration, said: “I would like to urge residents to express their views for the future development in the area.
