FOLLOWING last year’s sell out show, volunteers and staff at Kemp Hospice are busy preparing their next fashion event.
The ‘Musical Icons’ fashion show will take place at Kidderminster Town Hall on Wednesday, October 21, from 7.30pm.
Dicky Dodd from Signal 107 will host the evening, which will continue with a shopping hall and bar available until 10pm, with another opportunity to purchase autumn and winter clothing and accessories the following day (October 22) at the town hall between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
Lynne Jones, head of retail at Kemp, said: “This event is one of the highlights of the year for us.
“Everyone comes together to make sure the audience has a really good time. As well as volunteers and staff from our shops, the Donations Centre and the Hospice modelling and helping out behind the scenes, we also have generous support for the event from many local businesses.”
Lilian Griffiths, donations centre manager, said: “Throughout the year our donations centre volunteers have been putting together outfits and stock to showcase and then sell on the night.
“Last year the event raised almost £8,000 for Kemp – so we are all really excited and hoping for another amazing and successful event.”
Tickets are £7.50 and can be purchased from any Kemp shop, the Hospice or the Town Hall.
