A 36-YEAR-OLD Kidderminster woman has admitted a total of 12 offences, including attempted robbery, having a knife in public, assault and fraud.
Toni Anderson, of Queen Street, appeared via video link from prison before Worcester Crown Court, where she pleaded guilty to attempting to rob Soran Ali of money, threatening Sherwan Mhamade with a kitchen knife, and having a bread knife in New Road, Kidderminster - all on July 14.
She also pleaded guilty to attempting to rob Paul Laban of cash two days later on July 16.
Anderson was appearing for sentence after admitting a range of other offences before Kidderminster magistrates, including assaulting Istawan Somodi, two charges of having a knife in public, damaging four tyres on a car, falsifying a sick note to gain benefits, falsifying a hospital prescription chart to gain a prescription, and having two sick notes and a prescription chart for use in fraud.
Richard Hull, defending, asked for an adjournment so Anderson could be brought to the court for sentence, rather than appearing on video link, saying she realised she faced a term in jail.
Recorder Denis Desmond adjourned sentencing until Monday (September 7).
The defendant will also be appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court tomorrow (September 4) for a trial facing two charges of making off without payment.
