MASSAGING the ears of music lovers by playing hit songs from across nine decades, MaX Lyrical will be entertaining the masses as they headline a Kidderminster charity event.

Taking over the stage at The Red Man, in Blackwell Street, on Friday for Crackerjacks Children's Trust, the seven-piece cover band will be performing songs from well-known and loved artists, including Robbie Williams, UB40, WIlson Picket, Roxy Music, The Commitments, Jessie J, and many more, as they aim to get audiences moving and shaking so they donate all they can to the local charity.

Not only will the band hoping to raise much-needed funds for the charity, which is based in Green Street, Kidderminster, by supporting Crackerjacks MaX Lyrical are hoping to also raise awareness of the children who suffer from a disability.

Crackerjacks is now into its fourth year and each year grows from strength to strength.

Terry Bull, co-founder of the charity, said he hoped the free musical event would draw in a lot of people for the good cause.

He said: “We are hoping for a good turnout on the night and to raise lots of money for a good cause. MaX Lyrical are a fantastic band and I’m sure they will play something for everyone. It will be great to see as many faces as possible".

At the Red Man on Friday (September 4), entry is free, and as well as musical entertainment from MaX Lyrical, there will be raffles and prizes to be won throughout the night.
