THE Kidderminster branch of Sainsbury’s is out in full force to help customers and colleagues fundraise and take up the Red Nose Day challenge to ‘make your face funny for money’.

Fundraising activities at the Kidderminster store include face painting, dressing up, balloon modelling, activities for children, bike rides, a bake off and a tombola. Stores all over the UK will be taking part in a number of fundraising activities to raise vital funds.

Helen Bower, PR ambassador, said: “Our colleagues love getting involved with Red Nose Day fundraising. We have some brilliant activities planned this year and we look forward to inviting customers to join in with the fun.”

The Kidderminster team is now encouraging customers to show their support for Comic Relief by picking up one of the official Red Noses or merchandise on offer. This year, there are nine noses to collect. At least 60p from each £1 nose goes to help transform the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and across Africa.
